Where Every Stay Feels Warm and Welcoming

Corte delle Camelie represents the first restoration phase of two historic buildings dating back to the 15th and 16th centuries. Believed to have once belonged to a nearby convent, the properties later served as a family residence until 1950, when they were home to the Gilardi family.

The "Casa gilardi" dating from the year 1500

The “Casa Gilardi”, dating back to the early 1500s, was purchased in 2011 after the passing of the last descendant of the family. The buildings have since been carefully restored with the aim of preserving traditional construction techniques and original materials, while integrating a newly built structure designed to host the bathrooms and all modern technical installations. On the exterior façade, the property features a historic fresco depicting the Madonna with Baby Jesus and two saints, which has earned the building official recognition as a protected cultural asset by the Canton of Ticino.
